It was the first time for me to visit Myanmar. Before I started I tried to find an agency in Switzerland, but I was not satisfied and therefore I decided to find an agency directly in Myanmar. We are home again after a two week tour in January 2008 to Myanmar which was organized by Myanmar Elite Tours. We went there on our honeymoon, & I was lucky enough to have my husband planning the destinations as a surprise for me.
The service managed by Umyo and provided by Winbo & Ei Ei -our guides- was amazing! It made everything easy for us. They took us to very special places & explained everything to us with excessive patience & detail, they answered all our questions very kindly & even helped us finding good spots for pictures and taking some for us as well!! They managed to show us a very charming side of Myanmar by always giving us options during the tours. The hotels we stayed in were very comfortable & super clean.

We really enjoyed our tour around Yangon (2 nights) and Inle Lake (2 nights) from 14 Mar till 18 Mar 2011. Everything were well organized inclusive of hotels, transfers and station guide. We kind of like the unexpected cool weather we experienced in Inle Lake which was abnormal during summer. We prefer cool rather than warm weather so that was a bonus for the trip.
